Many of images on my bubblesite are from a recent series, The Riders, that has been exhibited in Adelaide at The Centre for Creative Photography (2008) and The Epson Gallery at Photographic Wholesalers (2009) as well as The Nexus Gallery in Bellingen NSW (2009).
Many of the images in the show were captured on colour infrared film. They explore the dynamism of racing cyclists, motion blur and camera panning. The cover image of this bubblesite is a self-portrait at speed taken on a home made cardboard pinhole camera mounted over the front wheel of the bike.
A calendar featuring many of The Riders images can be found here
The latest (December 2010) additions to the bubblesite are series called Another face on the wall and South America by bike
Another face on the wall is a collection of images from India and Sri Lanka that feature the tatty remnants of posters featuring faces. The faces are usually those of politicians.
South America by bike collects together images shot during a year long bicycle tour in Chile, Argentina and Bolivia in the late 1990s.
